I am Julia and ever since I could hold a pen, I’ve loved painting, creating, sewing – basically just being creative! As a kid, I designed my own costumes, transformed objects, took photos, drew… Creativity has always been (and still is) my superpower mode.

So it was clear to me early on: I wanted to do exactly that professionally! I completed a training as a Visual Marketing Designer, worked in retail for a while, and then decided to pursue a degree: Teaching with a focus on Textile Design and German Studies at Osnabrück University. While finishing my Master’s thesis and wrapping up my studies, I also support a secondary school in Osnabrück.

My training taught me how to work creatively, craftily, and solution-oriented – my studies taught me how to guide children through creative processes while embedding sustainable, cultural, and aesthetic education.

I’m also a mom to two wild hearts who inspire me every single day with their creativity and unstoppable energy.

I live and work in Osnabrück – and Kunstkirmes is my heart project.

Moini!
